I rate my work at Bravo at 10 out of 10 for enjoyment. To me, it isn't work. It is sheer self-indulgence and I sincerely believe that is achievable in a job for each and every one of us. I love helping people to understand and value themselves, respect and value differences in others, identify opportunities, as well as create and refine strategies - utilising tools and techniques to make dreams happen.

I learnt from my mentors, early in my consulting career, that, in order to be present for my clients, I needed to do my own work first. Today, people refer to it as being authentic. When companies and organisations invite you in to their lives, it is a privilege that needs to be honoured - anything less than your best sells you short. I work with great people who constantly reinforce this for me on a daily basis.

I have been privileged - indeed blessed - to have met nearly 500 individuals in Melbourne since 1999, who have come to me for advice and strategy on their careers and with job-hunting. I have never really considered my profession as "a job"; it is what I love to do and a reflection of who I am as an individual. I think this is how you define a career.
